The tree honey

Why are there tree honeys if these trees do not have flowers ? Do bees gather sap from trees ?

There are 2 kinds of honey: nectar honeys which come from flowers foraged by bees and honeydew honeys.

Honeydew is a sweet substance produced by aphids that bees collect on certain trees (example: fir honey).
