The quality and diversity of our honeys are part of the Famille Michaud Apiculteurs company’s DNA.
Always on the lookout for rare, original products, our honey hunters explore vast territories both in France and abroad. These honeys, of multiple origins, are valuable for their diversity. They are also a necessity, since France only produces between 25 and 45% of its needs, depending on the year.
All the honeys are thoroughly inspected in the Famille Michaud Apiculteurs partner laboratory AB LABO. Thanks to its team of researchers and technicians, as well as its cutting-edge equipment, the laboratory guarantees that all honey we sell is pure and natural, regardless of its geographical origin. NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) identification, which relies on a database of more than 12,000 samples, makes it possible to retain only the purest honeys. A significant number of batches submitted are rejected.
“Because Famille Michaud Apiculteurs is a company with a strong attachment to its national territory, it works on a daily basis to address the challenges faced by French beekeepers, particularly environmental issues.
For the past century, it has been dedicated to showcasing French honeys, fighting fraud, and supporting training and research programmes through the Fondation Lune de Miel®. These training programmes include ITSAP, the Technical and Scientific Institute for Beekeeping and Pollination.
